I am hooked! I received a large jar of the Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil from Tropical Traditions to try and then review. I have been using it now for about 2 weeks. I use it on everything, for everything. I really wanted to experiment with this product as I had heard so many wonderful things about it.I decided the first thing I was going to use it for was as a supplement for energy. I started taking 1 tsp a day every morning. Within a week and a half I felt better, more stamina, could keep going a little longer each day. I also started using it in cooking. I made our morning eggs with the oil instead of the butter I usually use. Dh didn't know I substituted and he couldn't tell either. I was afraid at first we might have coconut eggs, but that was not the case! :)
Since that was a positive experience, when I made some chicken in the pan (fried) I used the coconut oil instead of vegetable oil. The chicken came out crispy and delicious! So yeah I am hooked!
Then I started thinking of other things I could do with the oil. I used it on my legs and feet at night as a moisturizer- thumbs up! I also used it on my very dry face at night as a stand in for my night cream- another thumbs up! Sunburned from being out in the sun too long? Yep, used it on that too, was very soothing!
Dh said why not use it in your hair? OK! So I took an evening shower, washed my hair and then applied the coconut oil to my hair. I put my hair up in a towel and the next morning washed my hair. It came out so soft and shiny, WOW!
What is virgin coconut oil you ask? It is a food and it is one of the best cooking oils you can use. Research has shown that the fatty acids found in the coconut oil boosts the body's metabolism, therefore raising your body temperature providing more energy which can lead to weight loss. Coconut oil is rich in lauric acid, a nutrient that supports the body's immune system.

I'd like to the Virgin Coconut oil because it's rich in lauric acid, which supports the body’s immune system.
I'm also interested in the Organic Canadian Raw Honey and Organic Dark Chocolates.
My email is in my profile.
I like that it "boosts the body’s metabolism, raises body temperatures, and helps provide greater energy which can lead to weight loss" Lord knows I can use all the help I can get with that!

I like the coconut oil because it doesn't have any nasty trans fats in it - plus it smells so yummy!
I'd also like to try their coco-fed turkeys someday.

I have actually tried this. I LOVE it! I take it by itself; we cook with it; and I found out it is a great sunburn help and kept me from peeling at all after days in the sun.
I love it as a moisturizer as well, and use it in my GOOT recipe. It has so many beneficial qualities, including being anti-fungal and anti-bacterial!
It smells delicious and there are so many uses!!
